History History Street children in Bamako are one of the reasons that motivated the creation of our organization. During a trip to Mali in summer 2011, we were in contact with these children and the state of disrepair in which they lived prompted us to set up this organization to help them. Since then we have extended our field of action to orphan children in Cameroon and the Democratic Republic of Congo. But our action, although it is focused on children, also wants to have repercussions on their community. Indeed, the latter plays a major role in the presence of these children on the streets and to ensure that an action that really changes things is put in place, it is not enough just to take the children out of the streets, but also to ensure that these children live in an environment where the quality of life is good. The state of these children has also made us realize that in the province of Quebec, in our homeland, there are also children who need to discover their true potential, develop their emotional intelligence and be equipped to build their self-esteem in order to be ready to overcome all the challenges that life could present to them. This is why in 2017 the organization decided to carry out projects with street youth in Quebec, on the one hand, and with any vulnerable young person who would need tools to assert themselves.
