Primary Care Talking over coffee Distribute basic necessities to young people living on the streets (hygiene products, prepared meals, accessories and warm clothes) Offer a listening and referral service Provide basic healthcare (Cameroon, Mali and Senegal) Talking over coffee is the concept we want to offer our young people. A friendly meeting in the streets, where our workers distribute meals, hot drinks and other essentials. We want to get to know them, listen to them without having a preconceived idea about their history or their experience. We decided to offer more elaborate dishes, “homemade” dishes to young people because we want to create as much as possible a feeling of security and well-being. Spending time with young people, listening to them, ensuring that their primary needs are met is our way of showing them that they are important; it is necessary to create an intimacy with them since our approach is essentially based on inner healing and the development of emotional intelligence. It is a long-term job that must be constant and we are committed to doing so.
